Both tools included in this pack contain Brushless Motor Technology (BMT) and benefit greatly from it, as they have fewer moving parts, resulting in a quieter motor that never needs maintenance. The reduced friction enables a better use of available energy from the battery pack as there is no resistance from brushes, providing up to 25% more power. Furthermore, BMT eliminates the carbon brush resistance, meaning less energy is wasted, improving runtimes significantly. The 18V Combi Drill includes Brushless Motor Technology. The 18V Combi Drill includes a 2-Speed variable gearbox for efficient drilling of various materials, drilling, screwdriving and hammer functions, a trigger switch with locking option and 20+3 torque settings for controlled application, a 13mm keyless chuck, a built-in LED for improved visibility, an ergonomic design with rubber-grip overmould for increased user comfort and a belt clip that can be positioned on either side. The 18V Impact Driver includes Brushless Motor Technology, too. It also includes a 2-Speed variable gearbox for efficient drilling of various materials, a powerful delivery of 180Nm Torque, variable speed up to 2,000rpm, a 1/4″ Hex quick-change chuck, plus the built-in LED, ergonomic design, rubber-grip overmould and a belt clip. The 5.0Ah Lithium-ion batteries are compatible with JCB 18V cordless and brushless power tools and charge time in 120 minutes with the JCB 18V 2.4A Fast Charger.
